Three Leaf Ornament Set - OSLeaf1

Crafting my handmade copper leaf collection is an intricate and creative process that begins with a simple sheet of copper. I hand-cut each piece into the forms of a Maple, Oak, and Ginko leaf. The texture is brought to life through the rhythmic impact of a hammer, giving each leaf its own distinctive impression. The magic unfolds when I introduce the flame—using a torch, I apply heat to coax a range of colors from the metal. This flame-painted technique creates a dazzling palette of yellows, oranges, reds, and rustic tones, each ornament becoming a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. To preserve this unique beauty, I seal the ornaments with wax, which protects the patina and maintains the copper’s natural luster. Over time, the ornaments continue to evolve, adding character and depth as they interact with their environment. This process results in a collection that is not only visually stunning but also rich with the authenticity of its handmade origins.
